Moroccan American network (man) holds inaugural CEO of Morocco-US Summit to promote economic cooperation-Morocco-United States; Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D - TX) receives the 1st "1786 Friendship Award"

Last Friday, the leaders U.S. and Moroccan in business, politics and civil society just outside Washington, D.C. for the inaugural CEO Summit organised by the Moroccan American network (man). The Summit, hosted by Washington, DC Head Office of Jazeera, Abderrahim Foukara, aimed to raise awareness more and more investment opportunities for us companies in the Morocco and encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit among the more than 82,000 people of Moroccan origin, living in the United States today.

"We gathered today because the strengthening of the Morocco-U.S. partnership is fundamental to Moroccan-American business owners who want to contribute to the economy American as well as from Morocco,"man Chairman Mohamed Elhajjam, said at the end of the Summit."The overwhelming support and participation of the Moroccan community in America and that these influential U.S. business and political leaders during the Summit showed how this partnership is our two countries. »

Sheila Jackson Lee (D - TX), whose Houston district is home to many Americans of Moroccan origin, was presented with the first human "1786 Friendship Award" honoring a person who has made the extraordinary effort to strengthen United-States-Morocco relations.

"I want to thank you for this remarkable and exceptional price that you have been so good to me. I hope that you continue to think of myself as a strong friend. I want to build on the friendship of the Moroccan Americans, "said Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee during his acceptance speech.

"I wish you good number of vertices more. Congratulations. "We continue to seal the friendship between the Morocco and the United States and make a friendship great and large, in relying on the exceptional Moroccan-American who are here in the United States".

The award was presented by Gary L. Flowers, Executive Director and CEO of the Forum on the Leadership of Black, an alliance of over 51 National African-American civil rights and service organizations in the United States, including the National Urban movement and the National Association for equal opportunity in higher education, whose representatives also participated in the Summit.

Several leaders the provincial and national offered greetings from the Summit and stressed the importance of strengthening the political, economic and cultural cooperation Morocco-United States, including the candidates for the post of Governor of Virginie Terry McAuliffe and VA attorney general Ken Cuccinelli, US representative Jim Moran and United States Senator Tim Kaine of VA as well as several current and former members of the General Assembly will.
