Morocco will be represented by six students at the 54th International Math Olympiad (IMO), which will be held from 20 to 28 July in the city of Santa Marta in Colombia.

The Ministry of Education said in a statement that the selection of students is inspired by their display of the strong and distinctive skills in mathematics.

In addition, participating students were selected among the best young Moroccan mathematicians through the Organization of regional competitions in all regions of the Kingdom.

After their selection, the best students were rigorously trained in a course of three steps.

According to the Ministry, the six students who will represent the Morocco in the 54th edition of the Mathematical Olympiad International are: Florent Bilal, Manandhar Ayman, Mohamed Amin Bouayad, Ali Barki, Nicky Bourbon and Osama El m. These students come from schools affiliated with the regional academies of Fès-Boulemane, Tanger-Tetouan, Meknes-Tafilalet, and Rabat-Salé-Zemmour-Zaer.

This participation reflects the aspirations of the Morocco to ensure the continuity of his distinguished presence of IOM after the positive results achieved by the Moroccan students who took part in previous editions, specifically which is held in Holland in 2011, and organized by Argentina in 2012.
