Creation of the first unit of palliative care at a private clinic in Casablanca

The first unit of care treatment and palliative care pain was created recently at the Al Farabi clinic in Casablanca.

Professor Nejmi El Mati, a pioneer in the field for over twenty years, directs this new initiative, which is the first of its kind in the Morocco private health sector.

"The creation of this unit reflects our efforts to follow the innovations and changes in health systems, by improving the quality of life of our patients and ensuring the success of our medical treatment," said Professor Nejmi.

The creation of the first unit is the response of the private sector to the growing needs in the fight against pain in the Morocco and is a promising company in terms of the development of palliative care in the Kingdom.

"We are only at the beginning of our goal," said Professor Nejmi, "which is to provide those affected through the most difficult times in their lives, the opportunity to receive appropriate care, close to their families."

"Our desire to continue to work in this sense remains great," concluded Professor Nejmi.
